Jen Candon, LCMHCS, RPT-S™, RST
Owner - Blue Door Counseling
I believe as a counselor, together we establish a therapeutic relationship, work together to address life’s challenging events and help facilitate the changes to make for a happier and healthier life for you, your child, adolescent, and your family.
Together, we will determine the course and duration of counseling and work to facilitate growth by setting realistic goals.
Since 2009, I have been working collaboratively with children, teens, and adults navigating a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges in an affirming, nonjudgmental, and strengths-based environment. Areas of focus include:
Anxiety and depression
Support for ADHD and other neurodivergent experiences
Coping with traumatic experiences at home, school, or within the community
Parenting support and challenges
Emotional regulation skills and coping strategies
Life transitions and adjustment difficulties
Building and maintaining healthy friendships and relationships
My goal is to help clients feel heard, supported, and empowered as they work toward healing, personal growth, and overall well-being.
